Sustaining science through recycling
GreenLabs Recycling collects empty pipette tip boxes from research facilities within Greater Boston and creates new products made 100% from of the plastic we recycle. We are locally owned and operated, driven by our mission to make science sustainable.
Life scientists use and dispose of plastic every day. Some plastic used at the bench is recycled, but most of it ends up in the trash. Pipette tip boxes are one of the most prevalent lab-generated plastic waste items. Even if pipette tip boxes make their way to a recycling facility, they are often sorted out into the trash because they are identified as medical waste. GreenLabs Recycling is solving this problem by providing a local and cost effective recycling option for research facilities.
